As most of you already know:
Giorgio passed away on Feb 26th, 2013. He was a dear sweet man. Who loved his daughter Anna He loved mountain climbing, photography & nature in general. Though I am happy he is no longer in pain, I will miss him & the views he used to share with us of his beloved Dolomites.
One of the things that his death brought to mind is that there is a sense of continuation not only in those that have come & gone but in those that they have lead us to find, which in a round about way reminds me of a passage in the Bible "so & so begat so & so, AND so & so begat…" Anna was introduced to me by Giorgio. Giorgio was introduced to me by Alberto Alberto was introduced to me by Cathy Cathy was introduced to me by Violet All of these artist were once very active on this site now they rarely visit. If you knew them you probably miss them too. Here are a few picts from Giorgio's gallery.:
Beautiful images regardless of the season:

Not For The Squeamish
Saw this on Nat. Geo’s "World’s Weirdest” Cures episodes. I was very ill when I saw this episode so don’t trust my accuracy, see the episode for yourself…but if my note taking is curate it said:
Cure #1 One in every twelve Americans is diabetic, every 20 sec. a diabetic somewhere in the world is having something amputated ( I hope I got this wrong…that seems like a lot of limb loss). University of Arizona’s Professor of Surgery Dr. David Armstong is going old school using Maggot Therapy on those who have tied other forms of traditional modern medication (like stem cell therapy & skin graf
The Last of The Watcher Friend Features
Been pretty sick for the past few weeks with a respiratory infection, thought I’d be all better by now but the infection lingers. I should have gone to the Drs.
Now it seems prudent just to wait it out. Hadn’t realized I only had 2 left...YEAH! I am all done with the friend features.

She is a fantastic artist yet most of her pieces only have one or two faves. This is just a sampling of her work, she is very diversified. I originally started watching her cause of her tea pots & cups series. One of my favorite painting of hers is one she did of carnations, as she captured their beauty & their sadness. Not an easy feat to do.

His gallery has influences of just about everyone you can imagine, Frank Frenzetta, Sci-fi, Asian art, abstract
