As we walked along the New Market Battlefield Historic Park pathway to see the Shenandoah River & valley below, we came across several of these black & blue butterflies. The photos I took looked great on my camera screen but when I downloaded them, most of my pictures were not worth posting.
Some were just emerging from their chrysalis. It was a blessing just to have seen them.
